With 80 colleagues we are located in the office of Arval Netherlands in Houten. What is an OutSystems Architect?

An Outsystems Architect combines skills from Solution and Technical architects and is able to discuss and influence at enterprise architect level.

The Chapter Lead is responsible for:

Competency excellence of the Chapter

  • Improve a specific discipline across the squads
  • Enables discipline growth and learning of new skills
  • Support and mentoring of Players in the Chapter so that craftsmanship is right
  • Enables collaboration, Agile mindset and behaviors within the chapter
  • Contributes to alignment across the Tribes (Guild key actor)

Performance management of the Individuals from a Proximity Management perspective

  • Responsible for Players personal development
  • Appraisal for Players performance review within the chapter

Key Responsibilities

  • Design the architecture of OutSystems applications, using known patterns
  • Translate business requirements into viable and scalable applications, leveraging OutSystems capabilities
  • Correctly isolate Core Services, to promote reusability and reduce maintenance costs
  • Identify non-functional requirements, integrations needs and common style guides across all OutSystems applications
  • Assess existing applications in terms of performance, architecture and development best practices
  • Application composition that ensures lifecycle independency
  • Mentoring delivery teams

  • Prepare yearly performance review

Resource management

  • Contribute to capacity planning of the tribe
  • Contribute to sourcing of the squad by identification of internal and external resources
Benodigde vaardigheden:

Technical Skills

  • 8-10 years of experience in IT
  • 4 years of experience with OutSystems
  • Experience leading technical projects
  • Strong technical skills in architecture patterns, solution design and application performance
  • Experience building the architecture in OutSystems
  • Experience with OutSystems integrations
  • Tackle complex technical challenges according to project needs
  • Guarantee project quality in design-time by enforcing development best practices
