Returning your lease car
Three months before the end of your lease contract, we will send you a dehire manual. This document sets out what you need to do when returning your lease car or transferring it to one of your co-workers. In addition, the manual will contain information on the damage check procedure.
Both the interior and exterior of the vehicle should be clean at the time of dehire. When returning the vehicle, you are required to include all the items that were in the car at the start of your contract. Examples include spare keys, booklets and all the options and accessories that were included in the lease contract. If any of these original items are found missing, we will bill extra costs.
You are required to leave behind your old car when you pick up your new Arval lease car at the dealer’s. If the dealer in question delivers your new car to you, the garage driver will take back your old vehicle. The dealer will subsequently sign off your old lease car with us. If you will be receiving your new lease car from a different leasing company, or if your current car is not being replaced, please call the Arval Transportation Department at tel: +31 (0)30 602 44 44 to sign off the car.
