From the time of its establishment in 1989, Arval has been collecting work by talented young Dutch artists. Arval finds it important to specifically support this group of young artists and provide them with the space they need to develop their art. Works of art can be found throughout the company premises. The collection has since developed into an integral part of the company’s identity, culture and working environment. The works of art reflect a company culture that provides room for creativity.
In a period of just under twenty years, the company’s collection has developed into a high-quality selection of which we are very proud. It is an extremely diverse collection in which a range of techniques are represented: photography, painting, sculpture, drawing and video art. The collection includes works by Marijke van Warmerdam, Berend Strik, Wout Berger, Coen Vermeule and many other young artists.
